I am from India. My salary is good. I had taken ICICI Bank Credit Card, 07 years back. There was some fraud committed by bank in my credit card statement. I complained to Bank. Bank admitted it's mistake. Aggrieved with this credit card fraud, I decided to close my credit card account. I talked to bank, regarding this. They subtracted additional amount due to fraud from total amount and asked me to pay certain amount. I paid that amount and got No dues letter from bank. Recently bank has reported status of this credit card as Post (W/O) Settled ,in my credit information report. This remark is derogatory. I wrote to bank regarding this. They have replied that they are looking in my matter with priority and update status soon. Every 10 days they send reply like this and are doing nothing. I wrote to CIBIL also to remove this 07 years old accounts. They are saying that unless ICICI bank informs them to do so, they can not remove. I am helpless. Nether ICICI bank is helping nor CIBIL is helping. In this situation, can I get educational loan from any bank or NBFC ? Educational loan is considered as priority sector lending by Banks/NBFC's. Is there any bank which will give me educational loan without referring to credit report ? What is the best solution of my problem?

Hi. On April first, my neighbor hit my dad's car in our neighborhood. Our garages are facing each other, and my dad was going backwards to get out of our garage. He was already in the street and he was ready to go in his way. Suddenly, our neighbor back out from her garage very fast and hit the driver door of my car. She didn't stay in that position, she moved and my dad did the same. The white bumper of her van had no visible damages, but my door needs to be replaced. Also, there is white paint in car in the place she hit it. We asked for her insurance, but she didn't have it in that moment. We wrote the plate number and took some quick pictures. I called my insurance to report the accident. In the night, when she returned home, we asked for her insurance, but she refused. We called the police and she agreed to give us her insurance information. In fact, she wrote the information herself. I called her insurance(Geico) the next day, and she had already made a claim, and she only said she didn't hit my car; she didn't give more details. My dad gave his version of the accident with a lot of details, but she didn't do it. Her Insurance tried to contact her, but there is no answer from her. I see her everyday, so I am sure is not responding on purpose. Now, her insurance called me and told me that because she is not responding, there is no way to confirm she was involved in the accident. therefore, they denied liability. I was shocked because they took that decision only because they cannot contact her. They didn't came to take pictures of the place or the cars. So, I tell them I was going to send the pictures I took. I did send the pictures but now, the adjuster is not in his office, and he will be back next week on Thursday. Right now, I don't know what to do, I could pay for the reparation of my car, but I don't believe that's fair. Please, if someone can guide me with this case. What can I do?

The police have arranged for me to have an interview next week to discuss the consequences, at the moment I have no convictions or anything on my licence, my Dad just bought me my own car and has said he'll pay for the insurance in full, it's quoted at 880 for a year if he pays in full, he was planning on paying in full in 2 days, I'm not trying to cheat the system, but if my dad pays in full and then I get a conviction after the transaction has been made, can the insurance company up my insurance considering I had no convictions at the time? I'm not trying to beat the system and cheat my way, I'm just curious as to what will happen. Thanks for taking the time to read!

HELP! I didnt have car insurance when I got a speeding ticket, I have questions, help!!!!?

Ok, so I got a speeding ticket on Saturday for 5 over, I havent gotten a ticket in almost 5 years, my driving record is almost perfect, Im 25 years old. So, I havent been too sure about my car insurance, my dad was paying for a while, he stopped, so I made a couple payment and I moved and it just kind of disappeared, I know Ive been very irresponsible and I will suffer any consequences I get. So I didnt have proof of insurance when I got pulled over, the cop said it was fine, just bring it when I pay my ticket. So Im fairly certain I didnt have active insurance at that point, so Im wondering now if I were to buy insurance right now and bring proof of it in, would I get in trouble for not having it at the time I got pulled over?
